Wavepower 2020-2023 - The Swim England Child Safeguarding Policies
and Procedures
All organisations and individuals have a duty of care to safeguard children
participating in their activities. To assist all swimming clubs to meet
that duty of care, Swim England's Wavepower 2020-2023 identifies the policies
and procedures that clubs should follow to provide proper safeguarding;
the actions clubs must take when a concern is identified; and what support
is available to all concerned.
All Swim England affiliated clubs and organisations that have members
under the age of 18 are required to adopt in full Swim England's child
protection principles and procedures set out in Wavepower 2020-2023; act
upon the guidance in it and make it available to all members, parents,
employees and volunteers as required.
